My boys!!

Yesterday we found out that Weston and Logan both got parts in the Rodgers Memorial Theater production "Joseph and the Amazing Technicholor Dreamcoat".

We are so happy for them, this is the first time they have tried for anything like this. I have to be honest that I didnt think they had it in them, and we did not expect them to get the parts.

They received a call back after their auditions, but were out of town with their mom so they were not able to get back in. The word we recieved was that the producers were sorry, but they could not use them because they could not get back in for the 2nd audition.

THEN we found out that they had made such an impression that they decided to give them the parts anyway. I guess Logan especially knocked them off their feet because he looked and sounded so cute. He had a cold a couple of days before his try out so his voice was a little scratchy when he sang.

I still cant believe that both of them were able to sing in front of strangers like that! Their mom was not able to go into the try out with them (parents were not allowed) so they were completely alone in this room of strangers, but they still did it!!

Madison is also in a school play this year, and it is only time before Savannah gets in the act. Out of all of them she is the biggest performer! If there is ever a play that needs a toddler to scream and growl then Colin is in! :)

The only down side to all of this is that tomorrow is the MS Walk, and the boys have their first practice tomorrow as well so they will miss it. The rest of us though are ready to go out there and battle the rain and complete it again (and hopefully come in last again!)
